Unable to Pin NetSupport Software Programs to the Windows 7 Taskbar

Windows 7 includes a feature that allows you to pin your most commonly used programs to the Taskbar. This is achieved by right clicking on the program shortcut and selecting Pin to Taskbar.

This feature is not available for a number of NetSupport software products.
Windows 7 contains a list of reserved words that it will check for when you try to pin a program to the Taskbar.

If the program shortcut text contains any of the words that are in the reserved word list, you will not see the Pin to Taskbar menu item after right clicking on the shortcut.

The specific words that are in the reserved word list that affect NetSupport software products are Help and Support.

Due to the fact that the NetSupport Manager, NetSupport School and NetSupport DNA shortcut text contains the word Support and the DNA Helpdesk shortcut text contains the word Help, and you are precluded from pinning them to the Taskbar.

In order to resolve this issue please open the following registry item on the machine, by running regedit, and remove the words Help and Support from the list of reserved words.

Rebooting the machine, after modifying the reserved word list, will enable you to use the Pin to Taskbar menu item for the NetSupport software products outlined above.

I found some other programs that can not be pined to the taskbar (such as MMC panel) and the problem was solve by erasing ALL the words of the above mentioned registry route. Then restart and thats it. (If you don't want to restart at that time yous drag the icon to the taskbar and should allow you to pin it.

Access a MySQL DB from an outside SQL Manager

To connect to remote instance of MySQL you have to modify existing user or create new user and have that user permission to access instance from some IP (more better could be to have just some IP range). This can be using phpMyAdmin UI. Just go to "Privileges" option and select "edit privileges" for any user you want to use for remote access. And then into "Change Login Information / Copy User" section select "Use Text Field" from dropdown list for HOST settings and add IP (or IP range using wild cards % and _ ) for example in my case I used 192.168.%.% IP range because I was accessing machine on local network.

Once that setting is changed, all I had to do was to allow port 3306 in firewall and I was able to connect to that remote instance of MySQL using MySQL Workbench without any issue.
